The song „Ups and Downs” was originally written on my ukulele simply because I didn’t have my guitar with me at that moment in my life. It’s a song about life and realizing just how important it is to stick together and appreciate the moments with the ones you love because at the end of the day they’re the ones that keep you going. Keeping it simple, funky and positive I hope the song goes out to all of you and gets your fingers clicking.

„Ups and Downs” was recorded in May, 2011 in Aivars Vaisla Studio in Adazi, Latvia. Many thanks to Aivars for the opportunity to work with him. Also, heaps of thanks goes out to Lauma Kazaka (bass) and Dmitrijs Tarasovs (drums) who joined me in the recording session as well as in concerts and rehearsals. Had the time of my life. Couldn’t have done this without you guys! Many, many thanks!!

Hey everyone!

November is here and so are some exciting news for Kris’Music fans. The new single “Ups and Downs” will be released on 9th November. But before that here’s a little teaser for you. Hey!

So, been back in Wales for about a week now. Have returned for my studies here. Wouldn’t say it’s very exciting to be back, however, new year of studies is looking to be quite interesting, so it’s those little bits that keeps me going. And you know what, I feel pretty good. It’s just about putting the emphasis on positive things, positive thoughts and the right people, even if they’re not physically present.

Rainy day in Riga. Noisy street and city rush on one side of the building but a silent yard on the other. Sitting in the kitchen, doing nothing when an idea comes to mind - mini concert on the windowsill for people behind the grey windows of this six storey building. 

It was lovely. Some observing, some listening, some saying ‘thank you’. All in all, inspiring for me and hopefully for someone else as well. 

Just trying to fill my days with small bits of happiness and a smile. (:

Čau Tev un čau arī Tev!

Ar prieku paziņoju, ka šajā nedēļas nogalē apciemošu Rīgu ar pāris akustiskajiem koncertiem. Aicinu Tevi un Tavus draugus pievienoties.

Piektdienas vakarā tiekamies Dailes teātra āra kafejnīcā uz jauku pasēdēšanu akustiskās noskaņās. Bet jau sestdien ciemošos Tallinas ielā, kur arī tiks svinēti Rīgas svētki. Seko līdzi informācijai, aicini draugus un nāc, svinam kopā!
